As the Peter H. Peirce Homestead develops its community programming, we are committed to serving a diverse population, particularly those who benefit from our Card to Culture affiliation. In alignment with this mission, we prioritize a series of smaller cultural events rather than a single large-scale gathering.

Multiple smaller events offer clear advantages. They foster deeper community engagement, support sustainability, and allow for more thoughtful, high-quality experiences. While large festivals can face logistical challenges, high costs, and a more generalized atmosphere, smaller events create meaningful connections and deliver stronger local impact.

By focusing on a series of smaller, inclusive events, the Homestead can better reflect and serve its community while fostering lasting cultural engagement throughout the year.
