FY 2025 Fund Allocation
What the Friends Committed to Provide for Programs at the Library vs. What the Library has requested
In the Spring of 2024, the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library committed $16,000 to be used to support programs offered by the staff of the library.
These funds are above and beyond funds that are provided to the community in order to offer convenient off-street parking to patrons and funds needed to host special events such as the Annual Teddy Bear Picnic and to offset the additional expenses to host the Sunday Concert series which has been a performance goal for the Library Director.

Library Programs
Please note that these programs were scheduled to be covered by the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library and originally posted with an acknowledgement that our nonprofit would be funding these programs.
In November, checks that had been written for upcoming events were not picked up and since then there has not been any further request for funds from our nonprofit.

It has since been indicated that requests for funding has been made to another source.
